HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Habitat brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope, and envisions a world where everyone has a decent place to live within our service area and around the world.

A world where everyone has a decent place to live. Globally, organizations from all religions approach their work with a range of motivations that inform their development approach. This policy is intended to ensure that HFH conforms to recognized global standards that clearly state that agencies may not condition the receipt of assistance or participation in their work on any requirement that people listen and respond to a message intended to induce people to join a religious movement, political party, or other cause or organization.

INTERNATIONAL WOLF CENTER

The International Wolf Center advances the survival of wolf populations by teaching about wolves, their relationship to wildlands and the human role in their future.

The International Wolf Center envisions a world in which populations of wolves thrive well distributed in many parts of their native range. A global system of designated wildlands supports abundant habitat and prey for wolves and other large carnivores. The Center provides useful scientific information and learning opportunities to diverse individuals and groups and supports well-informed dialogue about management of wolf/human conflict. As a result, humans adopt an attitude of respect toward wolves. As informed participants, humans create policy and act in support of ecological sustainability, which includes the survival of wolf populations. In day-to-day life, humans accept coexistence with wolves.

VITAL GROUND FOUNDATION

The Vital Ground Foundation is a charitable 501(c)3 organization and an accredited land trust.

Our mission is to protect and restore North America’s grizzly bear populations for future generations by conserving wildlife habitat and by supporting programs that reduce conflicts between bears and humans.

Based in Missoula, Montana, and working throughout the northern Rocky Mountains and Inland Northwest, we envision a permanently connected landscape that ensures the long-term survival of grizzlies and the many native species that share their range. By connecting public land strongholds with protected private lands, Vital Ground is the only land trust dedicated to large-landscape conservation for the benefit of grizzly bears, other wildlife, and people.
